Via Bilingua is a vital film celebrating the Swiss language border regions and the unique history of the Röstigraben as a symbol of the desire to unify within pluralism.
The film is a multi-lingual adventure which follows the journey of Swiss musical duo Les Chrichri and a their English godson Xavie. The intrepid trio endeavour to hike the entire trail from the Basel area to Zermatt, whilst indulging in traditional Röstigraben culinary fayre, meeting the region’s diverse inhabitants and entertaining locals with comedic, traditional and anecdotal musical numbers on the way. We hope you enjoyed our trailer and will consider supporting this project either through Patreon or email us on info@viabilingua.org for a sponsorship pack. Our intension is for the film to be shown at film festivals and eventually to be available on Netflix.

Christine overcame Tourette's Syndrome to become a formidable pianist, singer, choir trainer and composer in her own right.
